Grandpa's Cardigan - Elli, Room 7 Print E-mail

One day Grandpa found his old cardigan. He put it on and Grandma said “It looks too old and itchy.” She stitched up his holes in his armpits and holes in his pockets and took it to the Op Shop before he knew.

Grandpa’s skin looks wrinkly like an elephant. His cheeks are red like cherries.

Grandpa took a bus to town and he looked in every shop for a new cardigan. He looked in the Op Shop and sat on a chair near the counter and the kind lady said “Are you looking for a grey cardigan, a size 1?” The lady said here’s a grey cardigan. She put it in a bag and Grandpa went home.
