The recent school Gala exceeded expectations with over $10 000 raised. The PTA is going to kindly donate these funds to subsidising our school camps at the end of the year. I'm sure our parent community will be most grateful for this assistance, as many families are finding things tough in this demanding economic climate.

A huge thank you to Christine Aldrich and Toni O'Brien for their organisation. They were very well supported by the PTA team and their helpers. Of course we could not have had the Gala without the fantastic support of our sponsors. We encourage our school community to support these wonderful people in recognition for their generosity.

This time around we tried to keep the Gala manageable and are well  aware of the possibilities to expand, especially in the food department. Now the systems are in place it will be much easier piecing things together for  the next one.
