What do I do when I am ready to enrol my child at school?

Call into the school office and collect a "New Entrant Pack". This pack consists of a number of forms, including Enrolment Form, Health Forms, Waharoa Registration Pack and Information about our school. Please fill these forms in and return them to school as soon as possible.

When you return the forms to school you should also bring with you your child's birth certificate and immunisation certificate. We are required to sight these documents in their original form. We will take a copy to attach to the child's enrolment card for future reference.. Without these documents we are unable to verify their Date of Birth or Immunisation Status and are legally required to do so.

Once the enrolment forms are completed and returned to school a copy is passed onto the New Entrant Teacher. Please also, register for the Waharoa - Getting Ready for our New Entrant programme at Ashhurst School. Once we have received your registration we will contact you about our starting dates.

We also ask that you supply a drink bottle and a sun hat for your child. Have Happy School Days ....
