Board of Trustee Elections Print E-mail

We are now calling for Board of Trustee nominations. Information and forms were sent out in early April. As this is a postal election please make sure we have your current address. Both parents of children at school are eligible to nominate a candidate and vote in the election.

16th May: Nominations close.

21st May: If there is an election, voting papers will be sent.

30th May:Election day

Rippa Rugby Success Print E-mail

Well done to our Year 7 & 8 Rippa Rugby team who took out the Manawatu Regional tournament last week by beating Feilding Intermediate 9-4 in the final. A huge thanks to Nicole Thessman, Dave Treder, Jarrod Edwards and the supporters for a job well done. A great effort kids! We are very proud of you all!

 
Term 1 comes to a close Print E-mail

 

Term 1 has been a busy and engaging one for the children. We were helped by the excellent run of weather which enabled the students to enjoy the outdoors and the summer sports opportunities.

 

We have had a number of new school families this term and I would like to thank these people sincerely for the smooth transition their children have made to Ashhurst School. As always, the PTA would love to see some new faces so we encourage any new or existing families to be part of this positive group.

Hangi a great start to Cultural Week Print E-mail

Ashhurst School children were the lucky recepients of a Hangi at school today. This was an ideal kick start to our "Cultural Week" which will see the children spending their afternoons doing a range of Maori activities including weaving, poi and eel skinning.

School Starts on Monday 4th February Print E-mail

Greetings everyone

A reminder school starts for the children on Monday 4th February at 8.50pm. The Office is open now for stationery and enrolments.

Hope you have all had a happy holiday season and are enjoying the run of golden weather.
