IMPORTANT UPADTE FROM NETBALL MANAWATU
Hi Netball Community,
Kia ora koutou,
Hope everyone is great! Obviously we are still in Level 2 until early in September. With the uncertainty of Alert Levels and whether we will get back to Level 1 in the near future we have decided to postpone all Future Fern festival days.
As you will appreciate, there is a great deal to manage in putting these great days on and if we are able to run these at Level 1 they then can be the fun, engaging day of netball they should be.
We will get back in contact with you once these dates can be confirmed with confidence.
This applies to all Future Fern festival days, Y1/2, Y3/4 and Y5/6.
‘he tuhituhi tou korero’
Thank you for following all the Level 2 guidelines as set by the Government and Sport NZ.
Unfortunately, due to lack of court availability at Arena, we are no longer able to provide further weeks of the Year 1/2 competition so this has now come to an end for the season. A Year 1/2 tournament will be run on 30 August for any Year 1/2 teams who wish to enter. Further details will come out regarding this opportunity.
The Year 5/6 competition has now also finished for the season due to St Peter’s College not being able now to accommodate external users under Level 2. A Year 5/6 tournament will be run on 13 September for any Year 5/6 teams who wish to enter. Further details will come out regarding this opportunity also.
We certainly understand that some people may be feeling a bit anxious about things at this time, or perhaps the new timings will not suit. We apologise if these changes will not fit for you or the team, and we understand if some may have to withdraw and that is totally fine. This is the only way we can safely run our competitions within Level 2.
Thanks for supporting us and being so accommodating.
